A recent graduate from Utrecht school of art, this is her final project aiming at mixing old and new technologies together. This unit is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, with laser cut keys and a clickable mouse!
INNOVATION!
This is a new “brainport” device, created by Wisconsons “WICAB,INC”. The impared user is able to effectively make out high-contrast shapes, movement and even some aspects of perspective. The current resolution is between 400 and 600 points. Within minutes of putting it on for the first time, impaired and even blind users begin to understand spacial relation and movement. The device is currently being tested by subjects and will soon be evaluated by the FDA.
