Big Gigantic are some rad guys out in Boulder Colorado, Blowing  up the past year around the festival circuit. Dominic Lalli and drummer Jeremy Salken mix thoughtful melodic ideas that flavor the electronic music scene with powerful saxophone  solos and soulful synth lines on top of super hot live drums. 

Anyway back in May we worked together to create their Debut CDs Cover art and it turned out great!

Well with a new season comes new material and they decided to make an EP, adding the Saxophone and live drumed elements the first album did’nt have.  Also giving me another chance to make a super dope graphic to accompanie it.

We talked color schemes and what we wanted done differently than “Fire it Up” and in the coming weeks we juggled around 2 ideas that were both stong is ways, but we wernt really feeling them.    We ended up mashing 3 differnt covers fantastic ideas together to get my final result.

Last week Conscious Alliance contacted me about doing some work for their cause.  If you dont know about Conscious Alliance already than get with the program, they’ve been around since 2002.   For various Concert or Earthly events conscious alliance scouts a conscious artist to construct a poster for the event.  Attendees may bring in 10 non perishable food items and recieve the limited print FREE.

I was surprised to hear the show i would be creating for was at one of my favorite venues in the US…The Tabernacle in Atlanta Georgia.   We incorporated some “tabernacle essence” into our final piece,aswell as a few Georgia Peaches! I hope everyone enjoys it as much as i did building it.

A recent graduate from Utrecht school of art, this is her final project aiming at mixing old and new technologies together.  This unit is FULLY FUNCTIONAL, with laser cut keys and a clickable mouse!

INNOVATION! 

This is a new “brainport” device, created by Wisconsons “WICAB,INC”.  The impared user is able to effectively make out high-contrast shapes, movement and even some aspects of perspective. The current resolution is between 400 and 600 points.  Within minutes of putting it on for the first time, impaired and even blind users begin to understand spacial relation and movement. The device is currently being tested by subjects and will soon be evaluated by the FDA.
